Foundations, it’s a tricky one. So many brands that claim to do so many different things. It’s hard to find the right one. For years now I was a die-hard MAC NC37/40 studio fix fan. It was always my go to foundation. I went through many bottles of this. Over the years I have dabbled on other brands such as Nars, Benefit, Armani, Marc Jacobs etc. They too are all good foundation and I would recommend them to people, but they never were as solid as MAC. For what ever reason MAC just worked with my skin.
Now, this all changed when Huda Beauty launched her faux filter foundation. This foundation is a game changer! I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of her eye shadow pallets but Huda Beauty nailed the formula in this foundation. Ever since I started using this, I am struggling to go back to any other foundations. Even my MAC foundation just does not seem to do what the Huda can do for me. It is a very long-lasting, full coverage, does not budge, easy to blend foundation and a little does go a very long way. It gives me a flawless finish every time and I do not feel like I am wearing a ton of makeup.
I got the shade 320G Tres Leches for £32. It is pricey but it also is a higher end foundation. They have so many shades to pick from. in my opinion they pretty much nailed the warm tones. It can be bought from Selfridges and Harrods in store and online, Cult beauty or Feel Unique online.
Whats your favourite foundation? I eager to see if there is a better foundation than this one.
